He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lockmiller and Edna Lockmiller (Mikulicz); his parents-in-law, Frank and Mabel Roberts; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Smith, Katie, Marcella Roberts, Tom, George, Don Roberts and Howie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Roberts; his children, Steve (Brandi), Scott (Lisa), Jamie and Tricia (John); his grandchildren, Ashley Blume (Chris), Dakota, Scottie (Stephanie), Allison, Christian, Payton Lockmiller (Kaitlyn) and Tyler Boraas; his great grandchildren, Gage, Camdyn, McKenna, Ciara, Cayden, Nash and Soren; his brother Jim; his sisters-in-law, Sharon and Peggy Roberts; and his cousins, Connie, Jim Willats, Penny, Mark Porter and Dawn Rosendahl.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stone State Park (5001 Talbot Rd, Sioux City, IA 51103).
