He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Baker and Marcella Baker (Smith); his wife Mary Jo of Emmetsburg, IA; his siblings, Ken Baker and Luella; his brother-in-law Howard Sawyer; his daughter-in-law Carol Baker; his granddaughter Monica Colella; and his nieces and nephews, Connie Drouet, Marcella Tucker, George and Allen Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Baker, Cathy (Bob Skarin), Patty (Wally Max), Bill (Karen) and Mary Beth; and his granddaughter Bridget (Tim Cuka). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
