It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey C. Jaynes of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Jaynes (Randall) and Glenn Jaynes; his brother Johnny Torgerson; his brother-in-law Mike Wood; his niece Lisa Hoefer; his nephew Christopher Jaynes; his uncles, Howard and Mike Randall; his aunt June Wilson (Randall); and his cousin Pierce Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Owings (Cody) and Jarrid Glenn Jaynes; his grandchildren, Wren and Finn Owings; his siblings, Tom Jaynes and Cindy Wood (Carla) of Sioux City; his pet Harvey; and his grandchildren, Leo and Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
