She was predeceased by : her parents, Lourn Kahler and Nadine Kahler (Lynch); her siblings, Jimmy, Johnny, Tommy, Jolene and Debbie; and her son-in-law Bob Taylor.

She is survived by : her close friend Jim; her husband Jim Kirkpatrick of Sioux City; her children, Tina Schulze (Matt) of Texas, Tammy Taylor of Ohio, Terri Smith of Sioux City and Tracy Smith of Sioux City; her stepchildren, Mark Kirkpatrick (Gayle) of Sioux City, Krisi Sponder (Jake) of Sioux City and Rob Kirkpatrick (Amy) of Nebraska; her grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, Haley, Maddy, Connor, Mitch, Lauren, Josh, Ali, Abbie, Adam, Cassie and Chase; and her great grandchildren, Payton and Clay.
