She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Niehoff and Margaret Niehoff (Wachman); her grandson Matt Laing; her siblings, Tom Niehoff, Gary Niehoff and Janet Galloway; and her son-in-law Guy Watkins.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Laing of Sioux City; her children, Tom Laing (Betsy) of Carroll, IA, Dee Dee Watkins of Sioux City, IA, Tim Laing (Leah) of Olathe, KS and Molli Ginger (Tony) of Sioux City, IA; her grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Zach, Brady, Addy, Jonas, Reagan, Kellan, Sophie, Jack, Carter and Kaylin; and her sister Joanne Wolf. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
