He was predeceased by: his father John C. Lanning; and his brother Mitch Lanning. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen "Kathy" Lanning (Zook); and his brothers, Mike Lanning (Bione) and Mark Lanning (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
