He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Preston and Nellie Preston; and his siblings, Andy, Stu, Janel and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Preston of Sioux City; his children, Jenny Kinsella (Bobby) of Easton, MA and David Preston (Shelly) of Kingston, WA; his grandchildren, Shelby and Rob; and his brothers, Jeff Preston and Joe Preston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51104). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5010 Military Rd, Sioux City, IA 51103).
