She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Claboe and Lucille Claboe (Rush). She is survived by: her friend Sue; her sisters, Carol and Karen; her sons, David Peterson, John Peterson (Lisa) and Paul Peterson (Charity); her grandchildren, Tyler (Ali), Desiree, Christen (Beth), Jeremiah, Joseph, Colin, Savannah, Bella, Nathan and Emily; and her great grandchild Stetson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and innumerable friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Morningside Lutheran Church (700 S Martha St, Sioux City, IA 51106).
