It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neal E. Asmussen of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Asmussen and Celia Asmussen (Bogenreif); his wife Sharon Arlene McGarr; and his sisters, Bonnie Martin and Nancy McBride.

He is survived by: his sons, Tod (Cari), Stoy (Diane) and Heath; and his grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah, Sammy and Zane. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
