He is survived by: his sister Connie Christiansen of Texas. He is also survived by twenty-seven nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Michael's Church (2223 Indian Hills Dr, Sioux City, IA 51104). A vigil service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (2223 Indian Hills Dr, Sioux City, IA 51104). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
