She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ping and Henrietta Ping; her husband John M. Stivers; and her siblings, Shirley and Norman.

She is survived by: her sister Anita Tipton; and her children, John Stivers (Lori), Bobbi Bofferding (Steve) and Wendy Knau (Greg).
