It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald S Dowty of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Dowty and Marcella Dowty (Strickland); his daughter Kristin Marie Dowty; his sisters, Sharon Eddington and Colleen Provost (John); and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Runkle and Leeroy Simpson.

He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Eric, Jesse Dowty of Sioux City and Bobbi of Taos; and his siblings, Douglas Dowty (Jane) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Bonnie Church and Mary Jackson of Palatka, Florida..
