With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra K. Cooper of Sioux City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martin LaRue and Elizabeth LaRue; her husband Dennis Cooper; her children, Doug Young (Tina) of Sioux City, IA, Steve Young of Sioux City, IA and Michelle Churchill (Keith) of Severn, MD; her stepsons, Mark Cooper (Susan) of Norfolk, NE and Mike Cooper (Laurie) of Primghar, IA.; and her grandchildren, Tenille, Dustin (Clinton), David (Marisa), Thomas (Katlyn), Karena (Devon), Kayla, Tyler (Rachel), Levi (Carrie), Brady, Sarah, Liz (Brandon), Staci (Turner), Nic (Nicole), Stefan and Erin (Matt). She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitfield United Methodist Church.
