She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Bakke and Mary "Dorie" Bakke (Beacom); her grandparents, Leonard, Esther Bakke (Swan), Leo and Fern Beacom (Marsh); and her sister Debbie Beacom.

She is survived by: her siblings, Barb Esser (Dave) of Canova, Kelly Jenkins of Sioux City, Shawn Bakke (Michon) of Carroll, Michelle Bakke of Sioux City and Shane Bakke (Wendy) of Spirit Lake, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and her dog companion.
