He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Edward Goodwin and LaVaun M. Goodwin (Junck) of Lawton, Iowa.; his parents-in-law, Frank and Catherine McGillen; his wife Colleen; and his siblings-in-law, Rod Rentel, Wayne Albers and Carole McGillen.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Megan Breit-Goodwin) of Minneapolis and Sarah of Omaha; his pet Daisy; his granddaughters, Catherine and Elizabeth; his sisters, Kaye of Waverly and Nancy of Sioux City; and his siblings-in-law, Patti Sus (Bill) of Chicago, Peggy Brennan (Bob) of Chicago, Mike McGillen (Patty) of Detroit, Tim McGillen of Detroit, Tom McGillen of Long Beach and Sean McGillen (Dana) of Detroit. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cemetery Is Roughly.
