He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ives of Sioux City; his son Randy Porsch (Lisa) of Sioux City; and his grandsons, Chad Porsch (Alicia) of Spearfish and Eric Porsch (Alicia) of Sioux City. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
