He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roberta Schoepf and Franklin Nelson; his stepgrandfather Mervin Schoepf; his grandfather Joe Hobbs; and his pet Sir Jake of Travsville.
He is survived by: his parent Cynthia "Cindy" Hobbs (Nelson); his stepfather Kurt Erickson; his grandmother Illa Hobbs; his brothers, Dennis Nelson (Brenda), Christopher Hobbs (Maria) and Josh Erickson (Rebecca); and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Nelson (Courtney), Gavin Hobbs, Isabell Hobbs, Kaitlyn Nelson, Jocelyn Hobbs, Benjamin Nelson, Claire Erickson, Cooper Erickson and Camille Erickson (Diane Gathje). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
