He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schindler and Erna Schindler (Boecher); and his brothers, Henry and Bill. He is survived by: his children, Perry (Deb Schindler) of Hinton, IA and Linda (Bob Navrkal) of Hinton, IA; his grandchildren, Jason Navrkal, Pam, Justin (Jackie Navrkal), Jacob (Ianna Schindler) and Amanda (Schindler); his husband Thomas Rohlik; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Keaton, Lillian and Kassandra; his sister Emma McClain of Minneapolis, MN; and his sister-in-law Barb Schindler of Sioux City.
