Wardell Greer Obituary

We announce the death of Wardell Greer (Sioux City, Iowa), born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Wardell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gramps Greer and James Greer; his grandmother Ida Mae Greer; his son Baby J; his wife Beverly Jo Greer; and his former wife Ruth Greer.

He is survived by: his brother Henry Lee Greer Sr.; and his children, Lonny Greer, Yvette Albrecht, Patrick Greer, Marceile Laird, Shandell Inlay, Shane Gruber and Denny. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; many cherished nieces and nephews; extended family members; countless dear friends.
