He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Joline of Sioux Falls, SD, John (Julie) and Janelle Lowden (James); his grandchildren, Kevin Thompson, Ashton Thompson (Matt Hooper), John Lewis and Marcus Lowden; and his sister Ann Corbett.
