He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert VanDyke and Lois VanDyke (Hall); and his brother Richard "Dick" VanDyke. He is survived by: his wife Esther Koerselman of Sioux City, IA; his sons, Doyle (Jennifer VanDyke), South and Neal (Kara VanDyke); his grandchildren, Abigail, Alexa, Emma and Will; his siblings, Margaret (Bob Morrissey) and John (Joyce VanDyke); and his sister-in-law Jane VanDyke of Homer Glen, IL.
