She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon "Curly" Simons and Alice Simons (Conway); her husband Brian Waldstein; her son Jeffrey Waldstein; her parents-in-law, Howard and Jeanette Waldstein; and her siblings-in-law, Eric Waldstein (Ila) of Texas, Kyle Waldstein, Patricia and Wayne Mills.

She is survived by: her son Eric Waldstein (Hillary) of Sioux Rapids; her grandchildren, Xander, Ryan and Torunn; her son Sean Waldstein (Amanda) of Sioux Rapids; her grandchildren, Ryleigh, Peyton and Evan; her sister Kathy Bradfield (Marvin) of Lewis, Iowa; and her brother-in-law Sam Waldstein of Sioux Falls.
