He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skei and Gladys Skei (Swenson); his wife Susan Weeks; and his brother Russell Skei. He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Watson (Bob) of Ames; his granddaughter Carly Cook (Hyrum); his daughter Shannon Chieves (William) of Ames; his grandchildren, Zoe, Elsabeth, Isabel and Tasha Lasher (Owen) of Boone; and his great grandchild Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Slater Area Historical Society.
