She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Ronfeldt and Margaret F. Ronfeldt (Gotto); her former husband Leonard McDonald; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Elsie McDonald (Pithan); and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Mitchell, Dorothy Williams, Beverly McDonald, Laura Thurston, Barbara Greenhalgh and Patricia Schwartz.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Adkins of Sloan; her daughters, Brenda Hinrickson (Stan) of Smithland and Carrie Tillman of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Dillion Hinrickson (Bethany) of Waverly, Courtney Tillman of Des Moines, Ty Hinrickson (Kaylee) of Sloan, Lars Eberly of Des Moines and Peggy Hinrickson of Smithland; her great grandchildren, Kinsley and Hudson Hinrickson of Waverly; her stepchildren, Sherry Thoms (Todd) of Lake Park and Randy Struble of Spirit Lake; and her siblings, Judy Herbst (Dennis) of Bronson and Don Ronfeldt (Leah) of Sioux City. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in loving memory of Linda K. McDonald- Adkins.
