He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Westergaard and Mildred Westergaard (Johnson); his wife Marlene Westergaard (Taylor); his parents-in-law, Myron and Evelyn Taylor (Wetrosky); his sister Inga Westergaard; and his brother-in-law Larry Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hernandez (Juan) of Irvine, Debbie Doran (Mark) of Fredrick, Mike Andrew (Teresa) of Anthon, Marcia Erickson (Jay) of Windsor, Patti Witten (Dan) of Whiting and Kris Westergaard (Michelle) of Sloan, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sean Westergaard (Morgan), Kelli Sturgill (Casey), Noah Mast (Hannah), Nicole Taylor (Jordan), Ashley Andrew (Thomas Atherton), Joshua Andrew (Lexie), Shayla Rodriguez (Adam), Kassey Frazier (Eric), Sabina Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Abigail Erickson, Kelsey Allvord (Ridge) and Klye Doran; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Leo, Ava, Hollin, Moira, Lewis, Addisyn, Maisy, Beckham and Harper. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
