With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vickie Joeleen Westergaard of Sloan, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Morris, Jr.; her mother-in-law Carolyn Westergaard (Reese); her daughter Kelly Westergaard; and her siblings, Rick Morris, Robin Morris and Marsha Ronfeldt (Dan).
She is survived by: her mother Lois Morris, Jr. (Sorenson) of Holly Springs, Iowa; her husband Lee Westergaard of Sloan, Iowa; her children, Kari Stewart of Sloan, David Westergaard (Nicole) of Marion and Douglas Westergaard of Sloan, Iowa; her grandchildren, Karissa Stewart, Destiney Stewart, Sadie Stewart, Daitin Westergaard and Palmer Westergaard; her great grandchild Cohen Mahler; and her sister Janet Ronfeldt (Gary) of Schaller, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skien Lutheran Church (11929 Aspen Ave, Sloan, IA 51055). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
