She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Marik and Ruby Marik (Thoreson); her parents-in-law, Jim and Elsie Kalskett (Moltsau); and also, Lisa and Larry Kalskett.

She is survived by : her husband Gary Kalskett of Soldier, Iowa; her children, Wade Kalskett of Onawa and Mary Mauch (Josh) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; her grandchildren, Sendeska, Megaeska Kalskett, Autumn Mauch, Jordyn and Dan Mauch; her siblings, Tom Marik (Clara) of Lake City, Raymond Marik of Red Wing, Minnesota and Darlene Tingerthal (Tom) of Chillicothe, Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Terri Savery (Gary) of Onawa, Jeanne Nelsen (Doug) of Soldier, Susan Kirlin (Bill) of Modale, Rita Utman (Gary) of Modale, Iowa and Craig Kalskett (Peg) of Leland, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethesda Lutheran Church (703 Pine St, Moorhead, IA 51558). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
