He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Foss and Edith Foss (Johnson); and his sister Ila Ping (Cleo "Bud"). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ulven of Soldier, IA; and his children, Robin, David and Dan. He is also survived by four children; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
