He is survived by: his children, Shannon Ehlers of Soldier and Jill Kirkpatrick (Lee) of Onawa, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Lane Kirkpatrick of Onawa, Alyssa Kirkpatrick (Jarren Young) of Blencoe and Kaylee Kirkpatrick (Wyatt Schoenherr) of Onawa, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
