He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Louis Haury, Sr. and Beulah Haury (Beall); and his sister Karen Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Emily Haury Boyce and Austin "Bubba" Haury; his wife Denise Illingworth; his grandchildren, Preston Boyce, Carly Boyce, Hayden Boyce, Wyatt Haury and Waylon Haury; and his sisters, Beverly Stolfus and Joyce Bailey.
