She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Bena (Makovsky) and Anthony Thomas Bena; her husband Bernard John "Bernie" Suchomel; her daughter Patricia Fankhauser; and her son-in-law Mike Gade.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Gade of West Branch, Gary Suchomel (Judy) of West Branch and Tom Suchomel (Sue) of West Branch; and her half-sister Olga McNamara of Anamosa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fry Funeral Home (220 E 6th St, Tipton, IA 52772). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton or Camp Courageous in Monticello.
