We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 78, Joyce King Barta of Solon, Iowa, born in Brooklyn, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester King and Edna King; and her siblings, Judy Divine, Dick King and Bob King.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Barta of Solon; her children, Stacey Kile (Craig) of Solon and Greg Barta (Jaime) of Apex; her grandchildren, Haley, Jessica, Amber, Allison, Kennedy, Austin and Gavin; and her siblings, Pat Smith, Bill King and Don King.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Solon Community Food Pantry.
