Karen Sharp Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2025, at the age of 72, Karen Sharp of Solon, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Sharp to pay them a last tribute.
Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sharp and Catherine Sharp (Keenan). She is survived by: her brothers, Barry Sharp (Susan) of Solon, Mark Sharp (Bonnie) of Blue Grass, Jay Sharp (Cindy) of Bettendorf, Rick Sharp (Michelle) of Muscatine and Tim Sharp of Bettendorf. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
In honor of her kind and giving spirit, memorials may be made to the CommUnity Crisis Services (Food Bank) of Iowa City where she was a faithful volunteer.
