He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Meister and Minerva Meister; his son Brad; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his daughter Julie (North Liberty); his wife Delores Taves (Dee); and his uncle Marvin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service (2720 Muscatine Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Solon Library or the Solon Food Pantry.
