Robert Kemmerer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Kemmerer of Solon, Iowa, who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kemmerer and Mildred Kemmerer (Plager); and his sisters, Maurine Kemmerer and Jeaneene Kemmerer. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Kemmerer of Solon; his daughters, Stephanie Kemmerer and Melissa Eiselstein (Brent); his grandchildren, Dane (Michelle), Aubrey, Jaden and Luke; and his brother Tom Kemmerer (Yvonne). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (5338 Johnson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established in honor of Bob.
