He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Granstra and Nellie Ida Granstra (Winter); his wife Shirley Ruehle; and his son Bryan. He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Stephas (Rod) of Spencer, Iowa; his grandsons, Ryan Stephas, Rick Stephas (Emily), Roger Stephas, Bryson Granstra (Desiree) and Brody Granstra (Alia); his siblings, Johnny Granstra of Sheldon, Iowa and Beverly Barnette of Florida; and his sister-in-law Joyce Dixson of Ithaca. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
