He is survived by : his parents, John Tewes and Laurie Tewes (Birchard) of Sioux Rapids, IA; his uncle Carl Birchard; his aunts, Linda Hersom (Mary Schuknecht) and Ashley King (Colby Anderson); his wife Kayla Bredehoeft of Spencer, IA; his brother Jordan Tewes (Brooke) of Rembrandt, IA; his parents-in-law, Delray and Janelle Bredehoeft; his brother-in-law Todd Bredehoeft (Jean); his niece Mercedes Hegel (Jon); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reghan and Jameson; his nephew Dalton (Carly Bredehoeft); his great-nephew Wesley; and his great-niece Willow. He is also survived by numerous aunts; uncles; other relatives; and many many friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (2912 Hwy Blvd, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
