He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Bruns of Spencer, Iowa; his daughters, Dianne Dirks Jr. (Marvin) and Darlene Carlson (Mike); his brother Denny Bruns of Orange City, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Marie Bruns LeClair (Dale); and his sisters-in-law, Bev Dau (Darwin) of Paullina and Bernadine Timmerman of Paullina. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and many, other relatives and friends.
