She was predeceased by: her parents, Farris Amis (F. E.) and Anna Marie Amis (Swanson); her grandmother Colonel Frank Kurtz; her husband Virgil; her sons, John and Jay; and her siblings, Everett Amis (Verlie) and Geraldine.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie; her pets, Augie, Lily, Twi, Stormi, Puddy, Lobo and Trinket; her son Jim (Barb); her granddaughter Stephanie; her brother-in-law Dana (Carole); her nieces and nephews, Kristen Hutchinson, Karen DeFrancesca, Keith Prather, Jeff Amis and Evans; Swoosie Kurtz.
She volunteered for the American Legion Auxiliary selling poppies, Meals on Wheels, Community Theatre, RSVP and driving patients to appointments.
