He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Heller and Clara Heller (Berning); his children, Mary Louise, Eugene and Rosemary; and his siblings, William, Bernard, Mary Ann Moran, Elizabeth Heller, Cecelia Kollasch and Isabelle Heller.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Fry of Spencer, IA; his children, James Heller (Amalia) of Spring Hill, FL, Judy Smith (Paul) of Sioux City, IA, Nancy Dunnick of Sioux City, IA, Joseph Heller (Cindy) of Jetmore, KS, Dennis Heller (Elizabeth) of Atlanta, GA, Paul Heller of Emmetsburg, IA, Pam Grigg (Kevin) of Spencer, IA, Cindy Grunow (Wes) of Pittsburgh, MO, Mark Heller of Ardmore, TN and Tracy Kuck of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings, Vincent, Ray, Leonard Heller and Betty Foxhoven. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish Church (1111 4th Ave, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (1701 W 4th St, Spencer, IA 51301). The family asks that masks be considered but not required due to the Covid-19 virus.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
