She was predeceased by : her parents, James E. Booth and Della Marie McFaddon; her husband Everett Sunkenberg; and her daughter Katherine Podhajsky. She is survived by : her son Russell Albert (Carol); and her son-in-law Duane Podhajsky. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the North Lawn Memorial Park (2208 Hwy Blvd, Spencer, IA 51301).
