With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lawrence Hansen (Spencer, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lawrence touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Olaf Hansen and Carrie Marie Holmberg; his wife Jolene Francis Harvey; and his parents-in-law, Delon and Verna Harvey.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hanson (Lanny) of Spencer, Deb Kaus (David) of Spencer, Vickie Hall (Richard) of Ann Arbor, MI, Randal Hansen (Lisa) of Spencer, Curt Hansen (Julie) of Spencer and Terry Hansen (Jolene) of Spencer. He is also survived by his children, 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
