With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Scott (Spencer, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Niles Swancutt; her close friend Bonnie Illg (Pee Wee); her daughter Janelle Polson; Donald and Patricia Scott.
She is survived by: her mother Patricia Swancutt; her husband Don Scott; her children, Joseph Polson, Carly Scott (Jeremy James) and Stevie Scott (Alex Nuehring); her stepchildren, Windy Dagel (Luke) and Casey Erick (Rachel); her goddaughter Cora Drefke; her grandchildren, Natalie, Jack, America, Lennie, Carter, Liv, Levi and Zoey; her siblings, Kevin Swancutt, Marianne Puck (Kelvin), Sherri Webster, Keith Swancutt (Karen) and Kelly Swancutt; Kim Woolery (Terry), Donna Koch and Dean Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warner Funeral Home-Spencer (225 W 3rd St, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the Liberty Cemetery (4500 225th Ave, Greenville, IA 51343).
