He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Steece and DeLorres Steece (Marble); his stepfather Ernest Muchow; his brother Larry Steece; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Fredrickson and David Peters.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Sarah Griffin of Spencer, Iowa; his siblings, Linda Willemssen (Dennis) of Charles City, Garry Steece (LuAnne Becker) of Spencer, Deborah Frederickson of Dickens and Kathy Peters of Dickens, Iowa; and his close friend Kevin Swancutt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Occasion Center/ Senior Center (Old Junior High Building).
