She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Norman and Gladys Irene Nelson (Lee); her husband Delmar J. Muckey; and her siblings, George Nelson and Crystal Doughty.
She is survived by: her son Lance D. Muckey (Christine); her sister Dianne Van Goor (Dennis) of Sioux Falls, SD; her brother-in-law Keith Doughty of Alexandra, MN; her children, Christopher Jones (Jen) of Marshalltown, IA, Kelly Preville (Mike) of Mesa, AZ, Joshua Haburn of Spencer, IA, Kori Bunn (Jarrod) of Urbandale, IA and Justin Haburn (Nicki) of Spencer, IA; and her close friend Becky Koenig. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warner Funeral Home-Spencer (225 W 3rd St, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (311 2nd Ave W, Spencer, IA 51301). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Flowerfield Cemetery.
