It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Perri Lyn Hughes (Spencer, Iowa), born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne "Grant" Perkins and Rosalie Perkins (Adams); her parents-in-law, George and Ruby Hughes (Henaman); her sister-in-law Rita Kling; her sister Diane; and her brothers-in-law, Tony Mendoza and Robert "Bob" Hughes.

She is survived by : her husband Vern Hughes of Langdon; her daughter Shannon Underdown of Seattle, WA; her stepson Chris Hughes (Dawn) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Kylia and Matthew Hughes; and her siblings, Dane Perkins (Meg) of Phoenix, AZ and Ginger Aldinger (William "Bill") of Emmetsburg, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
