It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Whittenburg (Spencer, Iowa), who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elma Ziegler (Seaton) and Lee Ziegler; her brother Dale; and her sister-in-law Helen Ziegler (Charles Whittenburg). She is survived by : her children, Cindy Christensen (Kevin), Charley Whittenburg (Nancy), Nancy Whittenburg (Gary Nelsen) and Robert Whittenburg (Heather); and her grandchildren, Heidi Hancock (Brian), Bridgette Schmidt (Nate), Joseph Christensen, Elizabeth Girling (John), Peter Christensen (Sierra), Harry Whittenburg-Nelsen, Emma Whittenburg, Pearl Whittenburg and Vivian Whittenburg. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Ruth Ann's memory to TTT-Chapter BP or the Spencer Public Library.
