She is survived by: her children, Paul Van Berkum of Spencer, IA, Dan Van Berkum (Jane Campbell) of Spencer, IA, Beth Van Hove (Dan) of Worthington, MN and Dawn Crane (Ivan) of Spencer, IA; her brother Mark Dykstra; her grandchildren, Ben, Leigh (Scott), Sarah, Sam (Taylor), Tyler (Kristin), Will and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Emma, Bennett and Max; her stepchildren, Todd Hansen (Lori) of Lake Lillian, MN and Trisha Severson (Chad) of Minnetonka, MN; and her sister-in-law Arliss Becker of Morgan, MN.. She is also survived by 4 step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Reformed Church (919 Grand Ave, Spencer, IA 51301). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Riverside Cemetery (1701 W 4th St, Spencer, IA 51301).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Samaritan's Purse.
