It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Ann Machholz of Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Sophie McNamer (Cupps); her husband Melvin "Bud" Machholz; her siblings, Lila Jones (Ron), Bill Wade, Jim Wade (Shirley) and Guy McNamer (Pearl); her great grandchild Kaiah Webster; and her brother-in-law John Shepherd.
She is survived by: her sister Mabel Shepherd; her sons, Fred (Dorothy) and Dave Machholz (Chrystal); her granddaughters, Morgan and Tara Machholz; and her great grandchildren, Adriel Ceniceros, Willow, Ivy and Neakita Webster.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wapello Cemetery.
