He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McAllister and Eunice McAllister (Thorson); and his brother Craig. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Carter of Spencer, Iowa; and his brothers, Jeff (Sandy) of Cottage Grove, Tim (Robin) of Yankton and Dan (Lanelle) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
